Weg met Vista

Ik heb eigenlijk geen recht van spreken, want ik ben geen Vista-gebruiker, maar ik moet wel lachen om het advies dat Microsoft krijgt om Visa te dumpen. Man, man, al dat geld, al die energie, al die aardolie, al die bomen (Greenpeace! Doe iets!) C|net's News.com is heel duidelijk: dumpen die handel. 'While Vista was originally touted by Microsoft as the operating system savior we've all been waiting for, it has turned out to be one of the biggest blunders in technology.' Zo, ga daar maar aan staan. Nog een leuk citaat: 'I also find it interesting that Microsoft decided to take the user access control concept from Mac OS X and make it much worse.' Tsja. De schrijver is gebruiker van Vista, OS X en Linux, dus hij heeft recht van spreken: 'As a daily user of Mac OS X, Ubuntu and Vista, I'm keenly aware of what works and what doesn't. Mac and Linux work.'

Het is wel gevaarlijk je te wentelen in leedvermaak. Als Apple hier maar een wijze les uit trekt. Arrogantie wordt gestraft. Zie ook deze prachtige cartoon van Joy of Tech...
